Megan
Megan has been dancing with Yoko for over half her life, and has enjoyed every minute of it. Megan loves all forms of dance, and attends Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical and Pointe classes.

Under Yoko’s instruction, Megan has had the opportunity to perform with the Oakland Ballet in their production of The Nutcracker since she was nine. She has also danced with the Fremont Symphony in it’s productions for children of Hansel and Gretel, Carnival of Animals, Peter and the Wolf, and Creation of the World. Recently, Megan was proud to perform with her fellow dancers in Yoko’s Japan Tour 2000 to Fremont’s sister city Fukaya, Japan.

Over the last two years Megan has won numerous awards while competing for Yoko’s. These include: 1999 Starlight Distinguished Performer, 2000 LA Agent Award for Starlight Productions, Miss Teen Dance for Kids Artistic Revue.

Megan was also proud to be a member of Yoko’s competition team, which was Showstopper’s Senior National Champions in 2000. In addition to dancing ten hours a week at Yoko’s, Megan strives to be a 4.0
