Genevieve

Gennie has been dancing with Yoko’s for over two and a half years, and looks forward to dancing here for many more. She has also enjoyed being on Yoko’s first Combo Competition Team.

In addition to the hours Gennie spends in dance classes, she practices at home nearly every night. She also figure skates competitively, and likes to spend every Saturday afternoon practicing for competitions. Adding to her already busy schedule, Gennie models for Macy’s and Mervyn’s department stores. Gennie recently had the honor of being the Macy’s representative in their tribute to the late Cesar Chavez.

When asked what her aspirations of the future were, Gennie replied, “I would like to learn how to read…. and dance in a show by myself (which means she would like to do a solo).” Gennie also looks forward to starting Kindergarten this June.
